About Us

After watching a documentary in 2016 on climate change, I decided to take a career change and begun a degree in Environmental Science (BSc). There has been a heavy focus on climate change within my degree. I was most surprised by the decline of insects, namely bees. There has been a 50 per cent decline in honey bee hives since 1985 and 2005. Bees provide a key ecosystem service to humans, pollination. Bees help pollinate the crops that feed us. The collapse of the bee population would have devastating impacts on the natural world.

Inspired by my degree, and my love of nature, I decided to start a company that helps protect our planet by using sustainable and environmentally friendly products and contributes to bee conservation. Bee-Eco only uses products that are as natural as nature intended, that are not tested on animals and are sustainably sourced. As part of Bee-Eco Clean's pledge to make the planet a better place, we also contribute to bee conservation.

I am not only hoping to build a business that is kinder to the planet, but I am also trying to build an awareness in relation to the damage we are doing to the planet. I will do this by blogging about some of the subjects close to my  heart. I also take lots of my own pictures of nature whilst I am out exploring

In my spare time I love connecting with nature by hiking in the wilderness with my spaniels, Maisy and Harley. This reinforces my desire to make the planet a better place, create change and to help ensure future generations are able to enjoy the planet in the same way I have been able to.
